The ex-lawyer for the former president has stepped down as the US Attorney for New Jersey. This follows a court battle that invalidated her legal standing to serve.

Official Departure

US Attorney General, the Attorney General, announced the prosecutor's departure on Monday. Bondi stated that the court's "flawed" ruling made it "untenable" for Habba to perform her duties.
