The young full-back A further assured display from the youngster following his debut against another side. A teammate failed to make the opportunity from a clever touch over the opposing backline. The role looks secure already. Seven

The newcomer His first start in an England shirt. Slightly careless on the ball but his whipped set-pieces posed a danger. A useful pace-controller for the coach to have versus defensive opponents. Shown a yellow after a reckless challenge. 6

Declan Rice Crosses from corners and set-plays were dangerous. Enjoyed freedom to move down the left flank but was offside as the pass came with a chance to score. Given a deserved substitution around the 60-minute point. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Functioned in an advanced position out wide and also did plenty of defensive duties. Displayed glimpses of brilliance and scuffed a shot high. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's top opening in the opening period, his strike excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. With a teammate holding position, it fell to him to offer an outlet on the right but his crosses from wide areas were hit and miss. Replaced with 15 to go. 6/10

The captain The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th strikes in an England shirt. His first a typical close-range tap-in while the second a classy headed goal after peeling away off his defender. At 32, his form is unwavering and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him up top. 8/10

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play from the left. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by Bellingham yet Strakosha made the save. Rashford produced a bigger influence when substituted. Five
