The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.

"We are facing a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
